ADOPTION OF SWAYAM-MOOCs COURSES BY THE UNIVERSITY
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) offered through the SWAYAM platform constitute a national initiative of the Government of India to provide high-quality, affordable, and accessible education to learners across the country.
The SWAYAM platform hosts courses developed by premier institutions and subject experts in accordance with academic standards prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and other regulatory bodies.
SWAYAM-MOOCs enable students to supplement classroom learning through flexible, technology-enabled, and learner-centric modes of education.
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, SWAYAM promotes multidisciplinary learning, academic mobility, skill development, digital learning, and lifelong learning. Read more at https://swayam.gov.in/.
