Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) Jolly Grant has started postgraduate courses in Bachelor of Library and Information Science and Master of Library and Information Science. The admission process for these courses has begun.
Dr. Mukesh Bijalwan, Registrar of Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), mentioned that due to the demand from candidates, one-year Bachelor and Master courses in Library and Information Sciences have been initiated. Preparations for course conduction at the university’s Center for Library and Information Management (CLIM) have been completed.
What is Library Science?
The Library Science course teaches students about Library and Information System Management, Cataloging, Bibliography, Documentation, Manuscript Preservation, etc.
Where can you get a job?
Initially, students are recruited as trainees. These professionals can work in government and public libraries, educational institutions, news agencies, private organizations, film libraries, documentation centers, museums, or galleries.
Educational Qualification- To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in their undergraduate degree.
