Celebration of 15 Years of Nuclear Medicine Department , CRI
On 21st September 2024, the Nuclear Medicine Department proudly celebrated the milestone of completing 15 years of dedicated service in medical imaging, diagnostics, and treatments.
Dr Vishu Vijayant Chauhan, In-charge Nuclear Medicine Department, addressed his warm welcome to all guests & faculty. He highlighted the evolution of the department, from its humble beginnings to becoming a vital component of medical diagnostics and therapy, and its commitment to patient care and medical research.
Renowned figures from the field of Nuclear Medicine, Dr Vandana K Dhingra Additional Professor at AIIMs Rishikesh and Dr Ankur Pruthi Consultant & Head at Manipal Hospital New Delhi, Dr Pulkit Mittal, Consultant at Kailash Hospital were invited to share their knowledge & insights on emerging role of Nuclear Medicine in Cardiology and Infection imaging.
Dr Raj Pratap Singh cardiologist at Graphic Era University and Dr Rahul Chauhan from Critical care Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dehradun were invited to share their insights. Presentation by Dr Sudip Dey, Assistant Professor Nuclear Medicine SRHU focused on the clinicle applications of nuclear medicine in Neurology. Radiation Safety Officer of the Department Dr Nisha Bhatia emphasized on radiation safety aspects to minimize the risks associated with radiation and harness its benefits responsibly for diagnostic as well as therapeutic purposes.
Prof Sunil Saini, Director CRI expressed gratitude to all those who have contributed to the department's success over the past 15 years. Prof Vipul Nautiyal, Prof Alpa Gupta, Dr Abhishek Kandwal, Dr Amzad Hussain, Dr Ashwani Bhatt, Dr Ankit Batra, Dr Saurabh Nandi, Dr Ravikant, Dr Jyoti Bisht, Dr Vinay, Dr Mansi Barthwal and Dr Madiwalesh graced the occasion with their presence. Dr Sunil Saini addressed the audience and communicated that in future such type of CME should be organized on regular basis to educate Doctors, staff, nurses and students. Program was concluded by distributing tea and snacks for all guests, faculty and students.
