MoU inked between SRHU and Auriga Research Pvt Ltd

'Swami Rama Himalayan University' signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 'Auriga Research Pvt Ltd' (ARPL) marking a significant step towards enhancing industry collaboration and fostering academic growth.

The MoU aims to strengthen ties between the academic and industrial sectors, with special focus on clinical trials, internships, placements, workshops, and research partnerships. The agreement will provide the faculty, researchers, and students of SRHU opportunity to gain invaluable insights into industrial practices.

Manoj Karwa, Head of Clinical Trials and Pharmacovigilance, ARPL, signed the MoU on behalf of the company. While Dr. Mukesh Bijalwan, Registrar SRHU signed on behalf of SRHU.

Collaborative Activities Under the MoU would include the following -

Internships:

ARPL will actively engage with SRHU to offer internship opportunities to students, subject to the availability of training scopes. Students may undertake short-term (4-6 months) project work or dissertation theses during their final year or semester within the facilities of ARPL.

Placements :
The company will also provide placement opportunities, subject to the availability of recruitment scopes. SRHU will facilitate in-campus or pool campus placement drives, ensuring smooth and efficient placement processes for graduating students.

Workshops and Seminars:
ARPL will collaborate with SRHU to conduct technical sessions, workshops, seminars, and conferences. Industry experts from Auriga will lead these sessions.

Industrial Visits:
The company may permit educational tours for SRHU students, providing them with practical industrial exposure. These visits will be arranged based on feasibility and availability, ensuring that students gain real-world insight into how industry functions.

Academic Participation:
To ensure continuous academic growth, SRHU will invite representatives from ARPL to participate in its Board of Studies and Academic Council. This collaboration will allow for regular updates and upskilling of SRHU’s syllabi to meet industry standards.

Research Partnership:
The MoU also fosters collaborative research opportunities, enabling joint projects and innovation between the two institutions. SRHU’s faculty and students will be able to contribute to and benefit from Auriga’s ongoing clinical trials and research efforts.
