Libraries

SRHU’s library services are one of the best among the private universities in India and are provided through SRHU Library System which comprises a Central Library and six faculty library centers located at HSMS, HSST, HCN, HSBS and HSYS and HSPS.

The Central Library of the University was established in 1992 as HIMS Central Library to support Medical, Paramedical and Nursing courses. It has now completed 32 years. It has around 3000 sm of space and a seating capacity of 425 users. The HCN Library was established in 1997 while HSST and HSMS libraries came into existence in 2013. Other library centres became functional in 2023 and 2024.

Main emphasis of the Library System is on digital services through latest ICT technology such as RFID, KOHA integrated LMS, Remote access to all its e-resources that ranges into several lakhs in number. The total strength of its monograph collection is more than 37,000, subscription to 2561 foreign journals (mostly e-journals) access to lakh of open access e-journals and e-books. Continuous information literacy programmes to optimize the use of e-resources and research management is the unique features of the Library System.
