Prof. Ashok Kumar Deorari, Principal HIMS Nominated to PGIMER’s Institute Body
In a significant recognition of his contributions to medical education and research, Prof. Ashok Kumar Deorari, Principal, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), SRHU, has been nominated as a member of the Institute Body of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
The Central Government, exercising its powers under Section 5 of the PGIMER Chandigarh Act, 1966, has nominated Prof. Deorari under clause (f), which represents the Medical Faculty from Indian Universities. His inclusion in this esteemed committee places him among distinguished academicians and healthcare leaders contributing to policy-making and advancements in medical research and education.
With decades of expertise in neonatology and medical education, Prof. Deorari has been a driving force in transforming clinical training methodologies and healthcare delivery. His nomination reflects SRHU’s growing prominence in shaping the future of medical education and patient care in India.
