Overview

General Duty Assistant (GDA) Program running under Swami Rama Himalayan University is of six months duration with main focus on competency based learning to equip candidates to work as health care assistant in both hospital and home care environment. Key responsibilities of the GDAs are to provide daily routine care to patients, look after their comfort, safety and basic needs. Throughout this course, candidates will acquire essential skills in handling patients and delivering bedside basic care. The course comprises of classroom teaching, demonstration, and practical experience in clinical setting. GDAs will collaborate closely with registered nurses and work under their direct supervision.

Application for the program

Interested candidate must submit application to office of the Registrar, Swami Rama Himalayan University by post or in person or can apply online through university website: www.srhu.edu.in. Last date for submission of application forms is 15th September, 2024.

For online submission candidates must register themselves in link provided in the university website before submitting application for General Duty Assistant from his/her email IDs and mobile numbers only.

Candidates must download the information brochure and read it carefully to understand eligibility criteria and other requirements for submission of application form. Once the applicant has filled the online application form, she/he will be redirected to the online payment page for submission of the requisite fee. Application fee is Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) with transaction charges as applicable.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with any stream. Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (Candidate shall be medically fit)
