150 Patients Benefited from Free Multispecialty Health Check-up Camp
A free Ayushman health camp was organized at CHC Laksar under the joint collaboration of Himalayan Hospital Jolly Grant, National Health Mission Uttarakhand, and the Chief Medical Officer’s office, Haridwar. More than 150 patients benefited from free health check-ups at their doorstep.
A free Ayushman health check-up camp was organized by the Community Medicine Department of Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS) Jolly Grant at the Community Health Center Laksar (Haridwar). Under the guidance of HIMS Principal Dr. AK Deorari, the camp included various medical specialists: camp coordinator Dr. Surabhi Mishra Community Medicine, Dr. Shubhranshu Jugran from General Medicine, Dr. Surabhi Chaudhary from Pediatrics, Dr. Simran Soni from Ophthalmology, Dr. Divyanee Gulati from Gynecology, Dr. Sanjeeva Kumar from Dental Surgery, Dr. Sukant Tomar from Orthopedics, and Dr. Anshu Prasad from Psychiatry. These doctors examined around 150 patients and provided appropriate consultations.
Head of the Community Medicine Department and Nodal Officer Dr. Ashok Kumar Srivastava informed that patients attending the free health check-up camp received registration, consultations, and free tests for sugar, BP, hemoglobin, among others, as well as free medicine distribution.
Dr. Niharika Verma informed that discussions were held with the public on topics such as maternal health, child nutrition, and mental health. MBBS trainees Muskan Jain, Narinder Garg. Mohd. Sameer assisted in the operation of the health camp.
