BCA and MCA students gain the latest industry insights at Rubico IT Pvt. Ltd. Visit
In a bid to provide students with a first-hand experience of the inner workings of the IT industry, the Himalayan School of Science and Technology organized an industrial visit to Rubico IT Pvt. Ltd., located in Haridwar. A total of 62 students from the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs participated in the visit held on March 22, 2024.
The primary objective of the visit was to familiarize students with the infrastructure and working culture prevalent in the IT industry, shed light on the industry's requirements, and offer insights into how prospective employees could align themselves with these demands. Additionally, the visit sought to deepen students' understanding of current technologies and industry trends, preparing them for future endeavours in the field.
The visit comprised various engaging sessions, including interactive discussions with both human resources professionals and technical experts at Rubico IT Pvt. Ltd. Students had the opportunity to gather valuable insights into the technical nuances of IT operations through first-hand accounts and demonstrations.
Under the guidance of faculty members Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Ms. Shivani Sharma, Dr. Deepak Srivastava, and Dr. Vibhor Sharma from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, the visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the dynamic field of information technology.
The visit to Rubico IT Pvt. Ltd. proved instrumental in imparting practical insights and enhancing students' understanding of the IT industry, preparing them for future endeavours in technology.
