Empowering Future Engineers: Workshop on Internet of Things (IoT)
The Computer Science and Engineering Department hosted a comprehensive workshop on IoT, led by Dr. Vibhor Sharma and Dr. Deepak Srivastava. With 33 enthusiastic participants, the event aimed to deepen understanding of IoT components and implementation. Students delved into various projects, mastering IoT applications like controlling LED using Cloud and Flood Detection Monitoring System. Website Report: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a dynamic workshop on "Internet of Things (IoT)" on May 11, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM in LT-02 (ARYABHATT-II). Led by Dr. Vibhor Sharma and Dr. Deepak Srivastava, the workshop aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of IoT components and implementation strategies. With 33 eager participants, the event commenced with an overview of IoT and NodeMCUESP8266. Students engaged in hands-on activities, including working with sensors and Microcontroller, and learned to utilize ThingSpeak Cloud Platform for data analysis and visualization. The workshop concluded with participants successfully demonstrating various IoT projects, showcasing their newfound knowledge and skills. Special appreciation was extended to Dr. Pramod Kumar, Principal of HSST, for his invaluable guidance and support, ensuring the smooth execution of the workshop.
