Orientation Program for Paramedical Students held at SRHU

An orientation program was organized for the new students who have been admitted into the paramedical field, at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Jollygrant.

During this, Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dhasmana stated that quality education is the focus in all the university programs, and students are being provided with world-class education.

The program commenced on Friday in the medical college's auditorium with Guru Vandana. On this occasion, Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dhasmana said that paramedical technicians play a crucial role in the treatment of patients.

The doctor treats patients based on the report of paramedical technicians. Paramedical technicians bridge the gap between doctors and patients, providing a stress-free environment for patients and assisting in their health. He emphasized that for success students should work hard and make the best use of their time.

Vice-Chancellor SRHU, Dr. Rajendra Dobhal mentioned the vital role of paramedical workers in the field of medicine and how doctors are incomplete without them. Besides discipline, he inspired students on being alert to the concepts of setting goals, time management, dedication, and commitment.

During the program, students were introduced to the mission and vision of Dr. Swami Rama through video presentations. Before this, Principal Dr. Ashok Kumar Deorari welcomed the new students into the 2023-24 batch and wished them well.

Vice-Principal Dr. Anuradha Kusum, acquainted students with the department heads, faculty members, and university policies.

Dr. Vineet Mehrotra provided information about the university's anti-ragging policy. Dr. Praveen conducted the program. Dr. Juhi Kalra expressed gratitude to everyone present on the occasion. Dr. Sunil Saini, Dr. S.L. Jethani, Dr. Prakash Keshavya, and Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad were also present on the occasion.
