75th Republic Day celebrated with great fervour at SRHU

The 75th Republic Day was celebrated with much pomp and show at Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) Jollygrant. Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dhasmana hoisted the tricolor and also took the salute of the students' parade. During this period, cultural programs were organized by students of various colleges.

SRHU Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dhasmana said that in the past years the institution has written a new story of success. He called for working unitedly for the progress of the nation and the university under the Prime Minister's vision of a developed India of 2047. Dr. Dhasmana said that the institute is succeeding in achieving the objective for which its foundation was laid. The university is involving the world's top scientists to work in the field of research. More than one lakh fifteen thousand patients were treated free of cost under Ayushman at the Himalayan Hospital. Dr. Dhasmana said that Himalayan Hospital is at number one in providing treatment under Ayushmana scheme in the country. He also appealed to the students to maintain the trust and respect of their parents. All possible help will be given to research scholars to make their mark on the world stage. The institute is working on various schemes for environmental protection. During this, Dr. Vijendra Chauhan, Dr. Renu Dhasmana, Dr. Sunil Saini, Dr. SL Jethani were present amongst others.
