Workshop on ‘SRHU Alumni Association holds ‘Achiever’s Discourse’

SRHU alumni have over the years made the university proud with their achievements, and those undergoing various courses too are showing their mettle in diverse fields. The discourses presented by the SRHU achievers have potential to serve as great inspiration for the generations next in line.

The maiden ‘Achiever’s Discourse’ invited two students, namely Dr. Diksha Joshi (MBBS – 2013-19 Batch Alumni) who has qualified UPSC CSE 2021 with AIR 19th Rank and Shourya Saini (1st year student of BASLP0 2021 Batch) who has bagged Bronze Medal in 10m Rifle shooting in Deaflympics 2021 at Brazil.

The event started with the Welcome Address, followed by the Opening remarks & introduction by Dr. Atul Aggarwal (President, SRHUAA) and felicitation of the achievers by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dhasmana. He honored the achievers by presenting them a memento & Angvastram.

Thereafter, the interactive sessions began one after the other, wherein both the achievers shared their real life experiences and answered questions asked by the master of ceremonies, Shivam Dhoundiyal (Youth Development Officer, SRHU). The tête-à-tête was conducted in two rounds, first with Shourya Saini and then with Dr. Diksha Joshi. Needless to say the two speakers radiated real charm on the occasion and their credibility in the eyes of the audience soared.

After the engaging dialogues, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor addressed the gathering followed by the Vote of Thanks by Dr. Pradeep Aggarwal (Secretary- SRHUAA).
