Various Programs Organized on Hindi Day at Swami Ram Himalayan University
Swami Ram Himalayan University, Jolly Grant organized various activities on Hindi Day. Students participated in essay writing, poetry, and debate competitions. During the event, speakers emphasized that Hindi is not just a mother tongue but much more.
Hindi Day activities were organized in all colleges of SRHU, including Nursing, Management, Engineering, Bio Sciences, and Yoga Sciences. Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dhasmana stated in his message that Hindi has not only been a significant medium for the promotion of Indian culture for years, but has also played an essential role in the foundation of cultures. Hindi is not just the national language; it is also taking the form of a global language.
In the program organized by the Himalayan School of Yoga Sciences (HSYS), Principal Dr. Ajay Dubey, Dr. Ramanarayan Mishra, and Dr. Somlata Jha collectively urged students to respect the national language, Hindi.
Similarly, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Principal of the Himalayan School of Bio Sciences (HSBS), highlighted the importance of Hindi in both national and international contexts. Students from the Himalayan College of Nursing, as well as Management and Engineering, participated in various activities, including drama, speeches, poetry recitation, essay writing, and debates, showcasing the achievements and challenges of the Hindi language.
