Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Master of Surgery (MS)


Our post graduate students pursuing MD/MS have access to 1200-bed largest super specialty PG teaching hospital in the state to support hands-on learning, besides regular CMEs & Guest Lectures involving all the departments.

The program is structured in a manner that all PG students undergo a structured orientation program including an overview of important topics of the basic medical sciences followed by introduction of various departments. Additionally, the PG residents are also introduced to various aspects of Basic Medical Education technologies and undergo hands-on-training in the skills lab. They also undergo Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course Training at International Training Center, HIMS, which is certified by American Heart Association.

Eligibility Criteria - There is common counselling for admission to MD/MS/Diploma Courses on the basis of merit list of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and is done under the overall supervision of State Government. Admission to MD/MS/Diploma Courses is strictly done as per MCI guidelines. Admission, Selection, Counselling is done as per qualification in terms of gazette notification that appears from time to time.
